Watermark Remover

Paint over a watermark, logo, date stamp, caption or any small unwanted object, and the AI fills the area in with what should be behind it. It runs on your own device, so the image is never uploaded, and you download it at full resolution.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove a watermark from a photo?

Choose the image, paint over the watermark with the brush (a little beyond its edges), and press Remove. Check the result, paint over anything left behind and press Remove again, then download as JPG or PNG.

Does it work on large or repeated watermarks?

Small and medium marks such as a logo, a signature, a date stamp or a line of text come out cleanly. For a big watermark across the middle of a busy photo, work in a few smaller passes; very large areas may look soft, because the AI has to invent everything underneath.

Can it remove other things too?

Yes. It works for any small unwanted thing: text, stickers, timestamps, dust spots, a stray object at the edge of a photo.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The AI (MI-GAN, about 28 MB) downloads to your browser once and runs on your device. Your image never leaves it.

Can I remove a watermark from a PDF?

Yes. Use the PDF tab: it removes watermark layers (text or logos stamped on every page) without touching the rest of the document.

Am I allowed to remove a watermark?

Use it on your own photos, or images you have the rights or the owner’s permission to edit. Removing a watermark to reuse someone else’s copyrighted image without permission can break copyright law. See our terms of use.
