Frequently asked questions
What is the IBPS photo size?
200 × 230 pixels (preferred), JPG, between 20 KB and 50 KB, as per the official notification. You will also have to capture a live photograph with your webcam or phone during registration — that is separate from this upload.
What is the IBPS signature size?
140 × 60 pixels (preferred), between 10 KB and 20 KB. Sign on white paper with a black pen, in running handwriting — not in capital letters.
What size is the left thumb impression and the handwritten declaration?
Thumb impression: 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI (3 × 3 cm), 20–50 KB. Handwritten declaration: 800 × 400 pixels at 200 DPI (10 × 5 cm), 50–100 KB, written in English in your own handwriting.
Does the same work for IBPS Clerk, RRB and SBI?
IBPS uses the same format across its recent recruitments, and SBI uses a similar one — but always check the exact numbers in your own notification before uploading.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The image is resized and compressed inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, so it is safe for ID photos and signatures.
